As you know, we bought our Campanoe so we could take our family and friends on the Chain of Lakes here in Waupaca. We have really enjoyed our times on the water right here. Perhaps the bimini is overkill for our purposes but we have appreciated the sunshade. We don't rule out camping in the Campanoe, it's just not our major interest in it.
For a family boat on the Chain or the Wolf or the Wisconsin, it can't be beat. For a low maintenance, easy handling boat, it can't be beat. Bruce, Marg and I find it's a great fishing boat, too. I'll send you a copy of our Christmas letter because we mention the Campanoe and there is a picture of Bruce's grandson holding his fish (one of many) tho' the boat doesn't show.
Attached to the email are two pictures taken in October when we took my son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren in the Campanoe on the Chain for fishing and enjoying the day. End result? No fish, but watched a mink and two otters play and enjoyed a wonderful sunny day on the water. Sara (2 yrs. old) sat in her chair in the middle and just giggled when the wind hit her face. Katie, being only 2 months old, was happy just getting dry diapers.
These are small things but give us great joy to be able to share and experience. Have a Happy New Year and sell lots of Campanoes. P.S. we could use a few more picture cards to hand out.
Thanks, Carol"
"Great CampaNews. Bruce and I have just started talking about trying a night out on one of our lakes this summer. I think having a sunrise and breakfast on the Campanoe would be wonderful. Hope it doesn't take us until September to accomplish it.
Thanks, Carol"
(Perhaps the bimini isn't overkill for their purposes after all. Morning on the water; one of the best parts of life.)
As you know Jan and I are early Campanoeians having purchased serial number three in the spring of 1999. The wonders of owning a Campanoe are still unfolding.
This past summer we bought a little brick house with an attached one stall garage. Our first question was; will the Campanoe fit as well as one of the cars? It fits beautifully.
We are looking forward to our third season on the Mississippi with plenty of overnights and day trips. Also, we are thinking of taking the Campanoe with us next November to Marco Island and Everglades City, Florida to tour the 10,000 islands. We will keep you posted.

Kim and I have been telling you about our Campanoe adventures for over two years now. We have slept with alligators in Florida, surfed it onto the beach in the Gulf of Mexico, sailed on several of the Great Lakes, and paddled leisurely down many far flung rivers. We thoroughly enjoy our Campanoe and you will too!
Our customers are getting more adventurous all the time. Many who said they wouldn't travel much with it, or use it for overnight camping are changing their minds as they see how much fun it is, how easy it is and how well it's designed.
